[Young journalist Seoyoon Jung] For the day of volcano disaster prevention day, the Japanese government has made a video informing how to evacuate in an eruption of a volcano. Mt. Fuji has erupted every 30 years in the past, but recently, the mountain didn’t erupt in 300 years.

Kyoto communication has said that the Japanese cabinet office had made a 10 minute video which was telling about the eruption that happened in 1707.

According to this video, kanagawa-ken, sagamihira city which is 60Km apart from Mt.Fuji, was expected to accumulate 20 cm of volcanic ash.

Also after 2 days, in Tokyo, shinjuku, there was 5cm of volcano ash pile.

The video mentioned that in case of house built with tree, pile of more than 30cm of ash will break the roof of the house and will be dangerous.

Also, if the pile of volcano ash is more than 3cm, driving cars will be difficult.

An earth scientist hujii doshi sugu, a professor of Dokyo university, said that Mt.Fuji erupted once in 3 decades on average once every 30 years, but the mountain has not erupted in past 300 years, and in every time, the volcano can europt.
